Location: The Circle Mall, Dubai, UAE
Project Area: 385,63 sq.m.
Project Year: 2023
Interior design of Gan Bei restaurant in Dubai is the first location of the European chain in the UAE, situated on the second floor of Circle Mall, offering Indo-Chinese cuisine and a modern Pan-Asian atmosphere. The interior was created in collaboration with Golden Project and restaurateur Sergey Pushnoy, following the brand’s signature concept adapted to the climate, culture, and pace of city life.
The space is divided into several functional zones: a terrace at the entrance with soft natural light, a combined bar and sushi area, the main hall with individual seating groups, and an open kitchen. Thoughtful zoning using furniture, greenery, and decorative elements ensures privacy even in the centre of the bustling dining area.
The colour palette is kept in warm, natural tones. Wood predominates, alongside sand and brown-orange shades, complemented by lush green from potted plants. Soft seating in natural fabrics is paired with wooden tabletops and elegant metal details in the decorative partitions.
Functional lighting is soft and localised. The character of the interior is largely defined by the chain’s traditional floor lamps and refined ceiling fixtures with fabric shades. Chandeliers serve not only as sources of light but also as expressive architectural elements. Warm, diffused light from numerous decorative fittings enhances the cosy, intimate evening atmosphere.
Green plants serve not only an aesthetic role but also help shape the space: they create accents, divide seating areas, and enliven the interior. Walls are decorated with light, rhythmic patterns in a minimalist style, maintaining a modern and visually calm environment.
The interior design of Gan Bei in Dubai represents an adaptation of the brand’s style to an international context, combining Asian-inspired warmth with the lightness of a contemporary urban restaurant. The space encourages relaxed socialising, visual comfort, and culinary discovery.
