House design with a winter garden in Absaliut 2009.
When approaching the design project, we already had the first floor on the land lot. The existing functional layout of the first floor was completely rearranged. We decided to design the second floor with a large roof deck. The specific detail of the arrangement is that the second floor doesn’t have any bedrooms. Instead, there is a spacious home office, additional library/living room with a fireplace, winter garden with a glass roof, and a huge stained glass window facing the south. Main exterior wall finishes are clinker cladding, KABE polysilicate plaster, and also black paint on a wooden ventilated facade. Walls are partly covered with Blachotrapez HIGH-TECH standing seam metal roofing.
The house with a winter garden is a nature lover’s dream. A cozy oasis inside the house gives a feeling of peaceful solitude and relaxation.
