The design of the Gan Bei restaurant in The Galileo Mall in Minsk forms part of an international chain comprising around 20 establishments across four European countries. The interior was created in collaboration with Golden Project and restaurateur Sergey Pushnoy, following a bespoke design that both reflects the brand’s signature style and is sensitively adapted to the character of this new location.
The bright and spacious main dining hall of the restaurant flows seamlessly into a terrace with panoramic windows overlooking the Gates of Minsk. The interior is arranged into inviting zones with the help of soft furnishings, greenery, and fabric partitions. A key feature is the open kitchen, which remains in clear view without disturbing the acoustic or climatic comfort of guests. The colour palette is built around warm tones — browns, greys, and timber shades create a calm backdrop, while vibrant orange accents and natural greenery bring freshness and authenticity to the space.
Particular attention in the lighting design is given to large woven chandeliers. Their style reflects the overall concept — often simple, elegant structures in warm hues, with textile shades or wooden elements that heighten the sense of cosiness and homely warmth within a large public setting.
The furniture has been selected with an emphasis on tactility and form — rounded sofas, comfortable armchairs, and tables crafted from natural materials provide an added sense of comfort. Modular panels with geometric relief, made from dark wood, frame the column and reception area, creating a striking focal point in the interior.
Decorative panels, natural timber, textiles, and light fittings give the space aesthetic cohesion and a distinctive Asian identity. In the design of the Gan Bei restaurant in The Galileo Mall in Minsk, every element contributes to a single concept: a cosy, elegant, and subtly exotic sanctuary of calm in the heart of a vibrant city.
