A compact single-storey house of 71 square metres, designed for country living for two people. The layout includes an open-plan kitchen-dining-living area, one bedroom, an entrance hall, a bathroom, a washing room, a sauna, and a utility room. Outside, the terrace features a barbecue area and a soaking tub for relaxation.
The project is a contemporary interpretation of a traditional house: the simple, clear shape of the gable roof, without complex angles, emphasises minimalism. The main façade finish is smooth dark-grey plaster, creating a modern and elegant backdrop. Accents are provided through wood-effect porcelain tiles and black vertical slats, giving the façade a restrained sense of formality.
Key features of the architectural design include simple geometry, a combination of dark tones and natural wood, attention to detail, and harmony with the surrounding landscape. The Graphite house appears modern while remaining cosy and naturally integrated into its environment.
