When approaching this project, we already had a semi-basement structure on the land lot. It dictated a pretty simple two-floor arrangement above the ground level under the hip roof with four sloping sides. The southwest side of the house adjoins a covered terrace and a balcony that has a great view of the water reservoir. In some sense, design and decorative elements compensate for the overall simplistic configuration of the building. Exterior wall finishes are KABE polysilicate plaster, wood-like ceramic tiles from Italon, quartzite KAMEYA tiles, Vandersanden clinker cladding. The roofing is Blachotrapez TYSENIA metal tiles.
The hip roof house is a practical and one-stop solution for the temperate climate.
